I remember singing that song as a little kid rolling around in the back end of my parents' station wagon. I wondered what kind of magical place Aruba was...
This past week, that mystery of my 6 year old mind was solved.
The Mode Travel Team and Associates touched down on a little 75 square mile slice of heaven.
Shockingly enough, only one out of the 14 of us Travel Agents had ever set foot in the country before. We're all seasoned travelers, but somehow this little island had escaped most of our adventures. Well let me be the first to say, that is a mistake I won't make again!
Send EVERYONE to Aruba!
It's known for its cutesy motto "One Happy Island" and really, how could you be grumpy here?! This island averages 300+ sunny days a year, lives outside of the dreaded hurricane belt, and boasts some of the most jaw dropping sunsets I've had the pleasure of seeing.
Truly a tropical paradise.

🌴Over 20% of the island is Arikok National Park - sustainability is a huge part of the culture and everyone does their part
💧You don't need to buy bottled water here! Aruba has some of the purest water on the planet. It's delicious!
👀Aruba is only nine miles from Venezuela and if you climb up to any of the highest points on the island, you can see it on a clear day
🚢Diving in Aruba is amazing - it's also the ship wreck diving capital of the Caribbean
🏖️The majority of the beaches are public, so you can literally walk for miles and enjoy the shoreline
🎲There are TONS of casinos throughout the hotels
💃February is Carnival in Aruba!
